School Playgrounds

Initial Systems Limited have undertaken numerous civils works involving playground resurfacing, fencing, brickworks and general maintenance to schools in London and the home counties.

Often we are requested to provide a scope of works that are required to enable budget forecast. Some of our existing clients are funded by their diocesan, local authority or academy trust.

Generally works will need to be completed during school holiday periods and within set budgets and we have the capacity within our business to achieve this.

Initial Systems have been asked to construct or upgrade numerous children’s playgrounds for both schools and Parish Councils.

Our customers’ requirements tend to vary tremendously from an upgrade of the existing surface and the application of new thermoplastic playground markings, up to constructing a completely new playground including the play equipment, perimeter fencing, artificial turf, wet pour surfacing and rubber safe play areas.

We have done a lot of work with regional parks authorities to create some exciting and creative spaces. Sometimes this can involve very large areas but Initial Systems have plenty of experience with big projects and can deliver large areas of landscaping just as smoothly as smaller projects.

We have plenty of experience in taking what may be a derelict area and transforming it into a fresh, engaging and genuinely useful space for the local community. We select the most robust materials to withstand years of heavy use while requiring little to no maintenance.

Public Recreational Areas

On the larger projects where it is necessary to utilise specialist sub-contractors for some of the elements of the scheme Initial Systems will source, programme and supervise these specialist contractors to suit each individual project and require no further input from our customers other than to agree on project requirements.

Initial Systems offer a full design, management and construction service for the whole recreational area project from start to finish.
