Improvement works to existing courtyard
Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington
We were employed to carry out upgrade works to an existing courtyard within the hospital, which would become a wellbeing hub for staff.
The external areas were excavated and prepared to receive new resin surfacing which included morale boosting rainbow connotations of the NHS and new planted areas to achieve the Hospital’s vision.
Our team constructed a new concrete slab to accommodate a wellbeing structure which was installed at a later date to provide year-round facilities to the hospital staff.
The courtyard was located centrally within the hospital and all materials needed to be manually imported or removed from the works area which was carefully planned and access routes protected to mitigate disturbances to all staff, patients and visitors throughout the planned works.
