The existing car park was suffering from severe damage due to water ingress over a time period of multiple years. There were numerous areas of severe cracking, potholes, undulations and depressions within the asphalt surfacing. This was causing extensive ponding issues across the carpark and was becoming unusable.

Our team were employed by the local authority to carry out full resurfacing of the carpark along with all relevant line markings. We also carried out works to expand the existing junction to Freddie Mercury Close to allow for free-flowing two way traffic. 

Temporary closure of the carpark necessitated a fast turnaround and the team worked incredibly hard to complete the project within the time frame given.
