The existing MUGA facilities at the School were outdated and inadequate for use due to significant subsidence and regular surfacing water ponding issues.

Our team removed the existing hardstandings and the soft spots of the pitch footprint were removed and replaced prior to the new formation layers being installed.

New land drainage measures were installed throughout the pitch footprint and all materials that were used were porous materials to assist with mitigating future surface water ponding.

We installed new pre-cast concrete edgings to the perimeters of the MUGA pitch and built up the MUGA pitch using permeable aggregates, porous asphalt binder courses and a porous specialist MUGA surfacing course, which was lined with the School’s requested sports markings.
